Köttinspektionen in collaboration with Uppsala International Short Film Festival presents an exhibition with two video installations, one by Clarissa Siimens (SWE)/Malin Malte Laggren (SWE) and one by Masha Krasnova Shabaeva (NED). In addition, two programmes with a running time of 30 minutes are screened. The programmes have been curated by Marina Fomenko (RUS) at the festival Now&After, Moscow, Russia, and Saul Judd (DEU) at the festival Lichter Filmfest, Frankfurt, Germany. On the day of the exhibition opening, a talk about short films and art video will be held with the two curators and Anna-Karin Larsson (SWE) from Filmform – the art film & video archive. The talk will be held by the filmmaker and artist Mervi Junkkonen (FIN).

Apt + Car + All I Have and Own
Apt + Car + All I Have and Own is an acclaimed documentary film screened in Peripheral Visions: Clara Bodén, together with four other films by the same director. Apt + Car + All I Have and Own is a research project in film, illustration and sound, about the significance of place. The project consists of the film, a book, and an exhibition. Parts of the exhibition are available during the festival at the festival centre Grand. The presented material is illustrations by Ronja Svenning Berge, sound installations by Cicely Irvine and photographies by Clara Bodén.

SHORT FILM AND CONCERT
UPPSALA KONSERT & KONGRESS

On October 21st the duo Siri Karlsson from Uppsala will play at Uppsala Konsert & Kongress. Before the concert, a short film programme curated by the festival will be screened. The programme can be seen as an interpretation of
the band’s music. This is a unique collaboration between Uppsala International Short Film Festival and Uppsala Konsert & Kongress, combining music and film.
