THE DISCO SHINES
The evening is coming to its end and the shadow of the mountain falls over the town. It’s Saturday, almost summer. Five friends are preparing for a night of fun. They are young. They have alcohol, a car and music.
“SNIP” cuts up colonial Canadian histories by telling a story of survival amidst the country’s genocide of Indigenous children. Annie and Gordon travel back in time to save Charlie and Niska, trapped in a nightmare reality designed to eradicate their culture.
Two industrial painters are at work in the Rotterdam harbour. The discovery of a dead body in the water forces them to reflect on their situation.

One evening in Lampang, at the archeological site where a homo erectus fossil was found 17 years ago, an outdoor cinema truck stops to screen a film as an offering to the ancient ghost. During the screening, something unexpected happens.
A PHOTO OF ME
I’m a baby in a 1950s backyard, facing a box camera. I’m a sleepy child at the cinema, watching a doomed man in the film noir ”D.O.A.” My sleepy mind flickers from past to present, in memories and dreams. The man dies. Click! The photo is taken. I walk home from the cinema, fast asleep.
