A filmmaker befriends a young Cuban girl on the cusp of womanhood. Fascinated by her expression of innocent girlhood pleasure, she attempts to make a film to capture it. But when she directs the girl to perform for the camera, the delight she is searching for is unseen.
WHAT HAPPENED TO HER
A forensic exploration of our cultural obsession with images of the dead woman on screen. Interspersing found footage from police procedural films and television shows and one actor’s experience of playing the part of a corpse in the film “the River’s Edge”, the film offers a meditative critique on the trope of the dead female body.
Haifa, Israel 2015. Old women prepare for an event. They are told how to walk, they wear numbers and try to succeed in the selection process. These women are Holocaust survivors. And the event is a beauty pageant.

In the darkness of a nightclub, hairdresser Porck and firefighter Dayana try their luck as Brega singers while plotting their course from studio to stage. Gestures are followed by melodies about love, betrayal, luxury and power in an experimental documentary.
ANTONIO AND CATARINA
A 70-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman share a candid and twisted relationship with a deadline. Over the course of three years, filmmaker Cristina Haneș comes and goes from Augusto’s life. Assuming new identities, António and Catarina, they talk about youth, death, love and desire, negotiating the terms of their relationship, trapped in a small room in Augusto’s apartment.
