FILMS

SOMETHING ABOUT SILENCE, Patrick Buhr (Germany 2015/Exp/Ani/13 min)
”You are here because you are boring. Let the audio-visual experience sink into your subconscious so you can become more exciting and fashionable.” This journey leads through streets, clothing stores, forests, and strange abstract worlds.

CAMS, Carl-Johan Westregård (Sweden 2014/Exp/13 min)
The image pans slowly around a coastal moor, a neighborhood of silent villas and empty streets, a forest path in fading summer light. There are no witnesses to tell the stories of how it all ended. All manifestations of human activity have ceased, giving way to the crackling and bustling of nature.

INGEN SÖMN PÅ STENGATAN, Clara Bodén (Sweden 2016/Doc/14 min)
A film about people working night shifts in northern Sweden. A few workers at the steel factory, a couple of night nurses, a guard doing his crossfit training set, a bus driver, and a few other people who aren’t asleep this cold January night.

SONÁMBULO, Theodore Ushev (Bulgaria 2015/Ani/4 min)
A surrealist journey through colours and shapes inspired by the poem ”Romance Sonámbulo” by Frederico García Lorca. Visual poetry to the rhythm of fantastic dreams and passionate nights.

AN ECSTATIC EXPERIENCE, Ja’Tovia Gary (USA 2015/Doc/7 min)
An invocation and a meditation on transcendence as a means of restoration and resistance.

MOBILIZE, Caroline Monnet (Canada 2015/Exp/3 min)
Guided by those who live on the land and driven by the pulse of the natural world, the film takes us on an exhilarating journey from the far north to the urban south. Over every landscape, in all conditions, everyday life flows with strength, skill, and extreme competence.

BITA IHOP,  Sophia Josephson (Sweden 2014/Doc/13 min)
12 year old Astrid and her friends are in the same ski jumping team. One day everyone’s worst fear comes true. Astrid has to stand alone and watch her friend leave in the ambulance. An inner struggle begins as her reluctance to jump clashes with her need to overcome her own fear.

PARALYS, Björn Fävremark/John Boisen (Sweden 2016/Fic/Horror/7 min)
Reenactment of a sleep paralysis. A woman falls aslep on the sofa then wakes up in limbo, where the nightmare has taken on a physical form in the room. Sleep paralysis is a phenomenon in which an individual wakes up and is unable to move.
